Emergency Pneumatic Net Launcher

 Designed a pneumatic net propulsion system to protect baseball fans from dangerous foul balls by deploying a 7’ x 7’ protective net in under 350ms.

Worked with a team to source and fabricate components and then manufacture and test our prototype to validate design requirements within a $700 budget.
 

Utilized SOLIDWORKS and 3D printing to creatively approach design developments during fabrication to reduce project cost by more than 15%
